Classic Shanghai restaurant with excellent food. The restaurant is well decorated and clean with a sort of classic European setting. The staff is nice and greet you with a smile. The food is very good. Shanghai style food is usually a bit on the sweet side, which I really like a lot. The prices are reasonable, $10-$20 and you get a good size portion, which comes with rice and tea, like most Chinese restaurants. I ordered this fatty pork dish with sweet brown sauce with some stringy mushrooms. I have no idea what it's called but it was freaking delicious and came in this really crazy looking vase. Parking is kind of hard, so you might have to park on the street and walk a little.
Traditional Shanghai food always delicious, service is quick, Kevin is smart kid, we will visit again when they re-open.
It is not an exaggeration to say that this restaurant has the best and most traditional Shanghai foods in the United States. Each of the eight dishes we ordered were beyond our expectations. The service was so friendly that you would feel at home.
